The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the visiting Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT), saw Ellington's lacrosse team top Edwin O. Smith by a margin of 14-4.
The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Granby Memorial (Granby, CT). The Bears enter the North Central Connecticut challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Granby Memorial beat Somers (Somers, CT), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Windsor was overwhelmed by Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT), 16-3, in a league challenge.
