New York High School Lacrosse - Penfield holds off Orchard Park

The Penfield Patriots (Penfield, NY) lacrosse nudged the host Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY), 8-7 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Canandaigua Academy for a Section 5 Monroe County III test on Tuesday, May 2. Penfield will face a Braves squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Braves record now stands at 9-0.
In their next game, the Quakers face the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) in a Class B test, on Tuesday, May 2. Orchard Park will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Starpoint (Lockport, NY).
