Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they host Chardon for a Western Reserve challenge on Monday, May 1. Mayfield will battle a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Berkshire falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Badgers host Cardinal (Middlefield, OH) to battle the Huskies in a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge on Monday, May 1. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Cardinal lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John (Ashtabula, OH)
