Ohio High School Softball - Champion holds off Whitmer

April 29, 2023: Toledo, OH 43613

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH) and the host Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), witnessed Champion's softball squad tip Whitmer by a count of 9-7.

The Golden Flashes now sport a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen for a non-league match on Saturday, April 29. Champion will face a Vikings squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Whitmer moves to 9-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Norwayne (Creston, OH) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Saturday, April 29. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 8-2.
