Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they host West Valley for a Railbelt challenge on Friday, May 5. Colony will face a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Delta (Delta Junction, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Ketchikan falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Kings host Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to face the Crimson Bears in a Southeast challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Crimson Bears enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Juneau-Douglas won 18-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Sitka (Sitka, AK)
