The Glenbard East Rams softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies to 3 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Glenbard East improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Rams travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to clash with the Sabres in a Upstate Eight game on Monday, May 1. The Sabres come into the game with a record of 2-13. Streamwood lost 18-3 in their recent non-league game against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL)

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Lake View Wildcats (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Red game, on Monday, May 1. Payton College Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 12-11 non-league win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
