Indiana High School Softball - Lawrence Central knocked off by Northeastern

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 14-2.
With the triumph, Northeastern moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Knights host Cowan (Muncie, IN) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league contest on Monday, May 1. The Blackhawks come into the contest with a record of 10-4. Cowan won 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Centerville (Centerville, IN)
In their next game, the Bears play the Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) in a Metropolitan contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Lawrence Central will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record.
