West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield North for a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Tuesday, May 2. West Aurora will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Naperville Central falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a DuPage Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 9-8. Neuqua Valley lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)
