The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Medford Tigers to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers go into the Hiawatha Valley challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Lake City was overwhelmed by Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Medford falls to 0-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Maple River (Mapleton, MN) to encounter the Eagles in a Gopher challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Maple River won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN)
