The St. Mark's Lions baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Pingree Highlanders to 5 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their match against St. George's (Middletown, RI). The Dragons go into the Independent School match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, St. George's edged Wheeler (Providence, RI), 10-5, in a non-league match.
The Highlanders (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Bancroft (Worcester, MA). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Independent match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Bancroft by Concord Academy (Concord, MA), 14-6, in a league match.
