In Monday's non-league test, the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-12 victory over the New London Whalers.
The Centaurs now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Griswold for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 30. Woodstock Academy will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-7 league loss to Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-7.
In their next game, the Whalers face the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - II test, on Thursday, May 2. New London will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT).
