In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Sayreville Bombers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Marlboro Mustangs.
The Bombers now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ocean Township for a non-league test on Friday, May 3.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) in a Shore A - North test, on Wednesday, May 1. Marlboro will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ).
