With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL) to play the Rams in a Central Illinois contest on Thursday, May 2. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 3-10. Shelbyville lost 10-3 in their recent league contest against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL)

In their next game, the Trojans play the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a Sangamo contest, on Tuesday, April 30. Auburn will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Bluejays come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL).
