Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Union City Bears (Union City, PA), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Ramblers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erie for a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Cathedral Prep will battle a Royals squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Union City falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA) to battle the Bison in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 9-4. Fort LeBoeuf won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Albion, PA)
