The Cyprus Pirates softball team (Magna, UT), was routed 10-4 in Monday's non-league test with the host Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT)

Coming up next, the Silverwolves clash with the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) in a 6A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, April 30. Riverton will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Sentinels come into the test with a 10-7 record after their 9-5 league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT).

The Pirates (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Lancers come into the 5A Region 4 bout with a 4-17 record. In their last bout, Granger held off North Summit (Coalville, UT), 15-1, in a non-league bout.
