The Doherty Memorial Highlanders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host South Colonels to 1 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Doherty Memorial moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Highlanders host South Hadley (South Hadley, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-0.
In their next game, the Colonels play the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. South will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record.
