Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA), 16-10 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Edmonds-Woodway will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Shorecrest falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Arlington (Arlington, WA) to battle the Eagles in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Arlington won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA)
