The Elyria Catholic Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Valley Forge Patriots to 3 in the Panthers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Elyria Catholic moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Panthers host Sandusky (Sandusky, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 30. The Blue Streaks come into the game with a record of 4-7.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) in a Great Lakes test, on Wednesday, May 1. Valley Forge will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Demons come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 8-3 league win over Rocky River (Rocky River, OH).
