The Marengo Indians baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Belvidere Bucs to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Tuesday.

The Indians now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond-Burton for a Kishwaukee River test on Thursday, May 1. Marengo will play a Rockets team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-14.

With the defeat, Belvidere drops to 2-17 on the year. The Bucs host Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to play the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois test on Wednesday, April 30. The E-Rabs go into the test with a record of 0-7. Rockford East lost 28-1 in their recent league test against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)
