In Tuesday's league game, the host Blackduck Drakes baseball team scored a nice 25-2 win over the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers.
The Drakes (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN). The Wolves go into the Northland game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley knocked off Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN), 10-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Bagley Flyers (Bagley, MN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Cass Lake-Bena will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Flyers go into the game with a 0-5 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN).
