The Toms River East Raiders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Brick Township Green Dragons to 0 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.
The Raiders now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Colts Neck for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Toms River East will play a Cougars team coming off a 14-10 league win over Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.
With the defeat, Brick Township drops to 9-4 on the year. The Green dragons host Toms River North (Toms River, NJ) to play the Mariners in a Shore - A South test on Wednesday, April 30. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 5-8. Toms River North won 6-4 in their recent league test against Toms River South (Toms River, NJ)
