The Cubs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Batesville held off Greensburg (Greensburg, IN), 6-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Clarksville Generals (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 1. Charlestown will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Generals enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN).
