The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) and the visiting North Harrison Cougars (Ramsey, IN), saw Floyd Central's baseball team beat North Harrison by a margin of 8-3.

The Highlanders (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Louisville, KY). The Shamrocks enter the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Trinity held off McCracken County (Paducah, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Salem Lions (Salem, IN) in a Mid-Southern battle, on Thursday, May 1. North Harrison will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, IN).
