The Thurston-Cuming County baseball squad (Bancroft, NE), was edged 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE)

With the triumph, Fort Calhoun moves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Lincoln Christian lost 10-7 in their recent non-league contest against Central City/Centura (Central City, NE)

The now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. Thurston-Cuming County will confront a Bears squad coming off a 14-8 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, NE). The Bears record now stands at 7-15.
