The Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) baseball trounced the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 13-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Belfast for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. Mount View will clash with a Lions team coming off a 7-0 league win over Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, George Stevens Academy drops to 0-3 on the year. The Eagles host Sumner (East Sullivan, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a Class C North challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Sumner won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Machias (Machias, ME)
