Massachusetts High School Baseball - Lynnfield edges Ipswich

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Lynnfield Pioneers (Lynnfield, MA) and the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), saw Lynnfield's baseball team gain a win over Ipswich by a tally of 6-4.

The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings enter the CAL Kinney battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Triton Regional held off Georgetown (Georgetown, MA), 9-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Amesbury Redhawks (Amesbury, MA) in a CAL Baker battle, on Thursday, May 1. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Redhawks enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA).
