Illinois High School Baseball - MacArthur loses to Jacksonville

The MacArthur Generals baseball squad (Decatur, IL), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL)

With the triumph, Jacksonville moves its record to 11-11 on the season. The Crimsons travel to Lanphier (Springfield, IL) to confront the Lions in a Central State Eight contest on Thursday, May 1. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-15. Lanphier lost 16-1 in their recent league contest against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL)

The Generals now possess a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Teresa for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. MacArthur will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-11.
