In Tuesday's league game, the host Ortonville Trojans baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Sting enter the Camden battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Yellow Medicine East held off Renville County West (Renville, MN), 10-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Fighting Saints face the Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 1. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 6-1 league loss to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN).
