Virginia High School Baseball - Loudoun Valley sneaks past Loudoun County

April 29, 2025: Purcellville, VA 20132

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) and the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), saw Loudoun Valley's baseball team get by Loudoun County by a tally of 2-1.

The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Washington was tipped by Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Captains face the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a Cedar Run battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Loudoun County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 30-0 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA).
