Maryland High School Baseball - St. John's Catholic Prep sneaks past McDonogh

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) and the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), saw St. John's Catholic Prep's baseball team get by McDonogh by a margin of 11-10.
The Vikings (12-8) will now prepare for their battle against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers enter the MIAA B Black battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Boys Latin held off Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) in a MIAA B Red battle, on Wednesday, April 30. McDonogh will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD).
