The North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) baseball the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), 6-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Region for a NVAC Capital A challenge on Thursday, May 1. North Country Union will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Rangers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Mt. Mansfield drops to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to clash with the Redhawks in a Metro challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Redhawks go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Champlain Valley Union won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT)
