In Tuesday's non-league contest, the West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) soccer team edged the host Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK), by a count of 1-0.
Next, the Wolf Pack face the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a Railbelt contest, on Friday, May 2. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK).
The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchison (Fairbanks, AK). The Hawks enter the Mid Alaska contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Hutchison was nipped by North Pole (North Pole, AK), 7-0, in a league contest.
