Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pius X advances its record to 10-2 on the campaign.
The Shamrocks now have a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuyler for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. Scotus will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
