In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Louisa County Lions baseball team scored a close 9-8 win over the Goochland Bulldogs.
The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Western Albemarle nudged Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Goochland will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 25-0 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
