In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Hand Tigers baseball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Lyman Hall Trojans.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Guilford nudged Xavier (Middletown, CT), 5-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Trojans play the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 3. Lyman Hall will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
