Virginia High School Baseball - Western Branch defeats Indian River

April 29, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23321

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Western Branch Bruins baseball team scored a close 12-7 win over the Indian River Braves.

The Bruins (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Grassfield nudged King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 25-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Braves play the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Golden Knights go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
