The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting St. Anne's-Belfield Saints to 5 in the Mavericks non-league win on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benedictine for a test on Wednesday, April 30. Miller School of Albemarle will clash with a Cadets team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Cadets record now stands at 5-5.

With the defeat, St. Anne's-Belfield drops to 3-7 on the year. The Saints travel to Highland (Warrenton, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 9-1. Highland won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Potomac School (McLean, VA)
