The St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse routed the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), 17-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Saints now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodberry Forest for a Virginia Prep match on Friday, May 2. St. Anne's-Belfield will confront a Tigers team coming off a 14-9 league loss to Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
The Mavericks (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles come into the Colonial match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Godwin notched a victory over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
