Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA), 22-5 in a league game.
With the victory, Masconomet Regional advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Chieftains host Danvers (Danvers, MA) to play the Falcons in a Northeastern game on Thursday, May 1. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 0-1.
The Fishermen now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Swampscott for a Northeastern game on Tuesday, May 6.
