The Langley Saxons lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Herndon Hornets to 8 in the Saxons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saxons now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stone Bridge for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 3. Langley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Herndon falls to 6-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to face the Statesmen in a Liberty outing on Thursday, May 1. The Statesmen go into the outing with a record of 3-7. George C. Marshall lost 14-6 in their recent league outing against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
