The New Covenant Gryphons lacrosse team (Lynchburg, VA), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Rockingham MudDogs (Weyers Cave, VA)

With the victory, Rockingham advances its record to 11-2 on the season. The MudDogs host Strasburg (Strasburg, VA) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 7-2.

The Gryphons now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Covenant for a VISAA Division 2 battle on Thursday, May 1. New Covenant will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 21-5 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
