The Northern Guilford Nighthawks triumphed over the visiting Western Guilford Hornets lacrosse team by a tally of 19-4 in Tuesday's league match.
Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro match, on Thursday, May 1. Northern Guilford will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Whirlies come into the match with a 9-9 record after their 16-9 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).
The Hornets (5-13) will now prepare for their match against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers come into the Metro match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Ragsdale was overwhelmed by Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 17-4, in a league match.
