Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Springfield overwhelms Penncrest

The Springfield Cougars lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Penncrest Lions to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marple Newtown for a Central outing on Thursday, May 1. Springfield will face a Fightin' Tigers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Fightin' Tigers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Penncrest falls to 7-8 on the year. The Lions host Ridley (Folsom, PA) to face the Raiders in a Central outing on Thursday, May 1. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Ridley lost 14-5 in their recent league outing against Radnor (Radnor, PA)
