In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Shelby County Rockets lacrosse squad scored a good 12-3 triumph over the Walton-Verona Bearcats.
The Rockets (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against DeSales (Louisville, KY). The Colts go into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record.
Next, the Bearcats clash with the Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Walton-Verona will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Colonels go into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to North Oldham (Goshen, KY).
