In Tuesday's league contest, the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) soccer team edged the visiting Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Skyhawks battle the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 2. L.C. Bird will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Royals enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA).
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians enter the Dominion contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Powhatan was nipped by Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 5-0, in a league contest.
