The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder to 1 in the Jaguars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holdingford for a Central Minnesota battle on Thursday, May 1. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will confront a Huskers team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Huskers record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle moves to 2-7 on the season. The Thunder travel to Swanville (Swanville, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a Prairie battle on Thursday, May 1. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 11-0. Swanville won 14-7 in their recent non-league battle against Royalton (Royalton, MN)
