The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) and the visiting Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), observed Lyman Hall's softball team prevail over Branford by a tally of 14-0.

The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Southern Connecticut - Oronoque bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, East Haven was routed by Hand (Madison, CT), 6-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 1. Branford will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Shelton (Shelton, CT).
