The Pendleton County Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Campbell County Camels to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. Pendleton County will confront a Knights team coming off a 10-0 league win over Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Knights record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Campbell County moves to 12-4 on the season. The Camels host Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to confront the Mustangs in a District 37 battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 14-6. Bishop Brossart lost 10-7 in their recent non-league battle against Conner (Hebron, KY)
