Virginia High School Softball - Clarke County tipped by Jefferson

The Jefferson Cougars the host Clarke County Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the non-league challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Musselman edged Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV), 9-4, in a league challenge.
