Virginia High School Softball - Parry McCluer bested by Eastern Montgomery

The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs triumphed over the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Green Waves enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 23-6 league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).

The Fighting Blues (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Nelson County was routed by Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
